Come and do research with us

We are a small, friendly team. If floods, rain, rivers or water for food keep you curious, you will fit right in.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Something else on your mind? Just ask, we reply to every email.

Do I need programming experience?

It helps, but it is not a requirement. Python, GIS and data handling are learned on the job, with help from senior members.

Which programmes can I join through?

Undergraduate (S1), master’s (S2) and doctoral (S3) students of Universitas Gadjah Mada, and visiting students through formal agreements.

Can I propose my own topic?

Yes. The best proposals connect your interest to data or projects the lab already has, so we will shape it together.

How do I start?

Send a short email with your CV and a paragraph about the problem you want to work on. We reply to every message.
